6/4/07 Next meeting will be the time for public opinion on the rezoning of the Ruppert farm to a mix of C1 and R2. It is currently all residential and the prior proposal from the developer was to put 550 townhouses on the property. The problem with C1 is it allows most of the uses of C2 plus the advantage of putting smaller uses outlined in the C1 section of the ordinance. The township is currently working on a sign ordinance that would be much more restrictive on sign sizes and content. Items also being considered are changing Smith Road and a new Burning Ordinance.
